Störtebeker
The Hamburg Dungeon Attractions - Störtebeker's Execution

Klaus Störtebeker’s - hero or villainous pirate? In 1401 the council of Hamburg had no doubts.

Condemned alongside his crew for crimes on the high seas, and with death imminent, Störtebeker strikes a bizarre and gruesome deal with his captors: once his head had been chopped off, he would rise up and walk down the line of his condemned crew, the further his headless body stumbled, the more men the council would pardon.

Take a deep breath as you witness the axe-man behead Störtebeker alongside his crew. There’s blood-lust in the air: will his captors want your head too?
