Ticket and Purchase Information

Q. How can I purchase tickets to the Hamburg Dungeon?
A. The best place to book tickets to the Dungeon is here on the website. We offer several ticket types and you can get more info on these on our tickets & prices page.

You can also purchase tickets on the day of your visit from the attraction, but you will need to queue for these.
Q. How do I receive my online tickets?
A. You will receive a confirmation by e-mail immediately after making your booking. This confirmation needs to be printed and taken with you to the Hamburg Dungeon. Without it, the access to the attraction might be denied. The emailed pdf confirmation acts as your ticket.

Please note: a barcode shown on a mobile phone, smart phone, blackberr etc. does not constitute a valid ticket. You must present a printed ticket.
Q. Can I purchase tickets on the same day as my visit?
A. It all depends as sometimes we do and sometimes we don't offer tickets for the same day online. You need to check in the booking process. But you can purchase normal tickets at the attraction on the day of your visit.
Q. Do I have to enter at the time on my confirmation of a ticket with time slots?
A. You can enter at any time between the time slots on your confirmation.
Q. If I pre-book for a certain time slot what will happen if my train is delayed and I am late?
A. You will be allowed in at the next time slot subject to availability, but if you have bought an off-peak and end up in a peak time slot then you will be charged to upgrade.
Q. Does a priority entrance ticket give me immediate entry?
A. There may be a wait during busy times (especially the middle of the day during school holidays and weekends), but priority entrance tickets have priority over the main queue.
Q. What are the adult/child age brackets?
Adult: 15+ years

Child: up to 14 years
Please note: we do not recommend a visit for children younger than 10 years of age. If you do want to visit with younger children, we will need written confirmation from the parents. Also, all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Student: with valid student ID

OAP: 60+ years
Q. What forms of student ID are accepted at the Dungeons?
A. German student IDs, plus some international valid ones are accepted.
Q. Are there age restrictions?
A. No, as long as children are aged 10-14 and under are supervised by an adult, there isn't a problem. We do not recommend a visit for children younger than 10 years of age. But if you do want to visit with younger children, we will need written confirmation from the parents.
